What do you do when the world seems hell-bent
on not having you exist? How do you fight so much hate?
You hit back with JOY.
And a little bit of GLITTER.

Dragathon: Meeting Hate with Joy follows, from conception to execution, the ambitious attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the longest drag show in history—48 consecutive hours. STOP. TAKE THAT IN. We’re talking about 48 hours of non-stop performances filled with giant wigs, fake eyelashes, sass, chaos, and beauty.
The wild idea came from Emma Mcilroy, co-founder and CEO of the queer-friendly clothing brand, Wildfang. But there was no way that Mcilroy could do it alone, so she wrangled in her drag-loving friend Eden Dawn to help make this world record-breaking event possible. They knew this could rally the community together and create a glorious showing of solidarity. Plus, all proceeds from the show would go to The Trevor Project, a non-profit that provides crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ youth.
It sounded perfect. But that's only if Emma and Eden could pull it off…
